How to File Your Tax Return

This article provides basic information about the tax return filing period and how to file. You can submit your return online via the NTA website. Be aware that extra documents are needed if you have property transfer income.

The filing period for tax returns runs from February 16 to March 15 of the following year. You must submit your tax return to the tax office (tax authority) by the deadline. You can prepare and submit your tax return online through the National Tax Agency (NTA) website. Please note that if you have income from the sale of land or buildings (capital gains from property transfer), additional documents will be required.
