Oita Prefecture Invites Schools and Companies for Free Preconception Care Lectures
Oita Prefecture has launched a program called 'Preconception Care Promotion On-site Lectures' aimed at helping young people gain correct knowledge about their health and life plans. Trained midwives visit schools and companies to provide 40 to 90 minute lectures discussing health management, including pregnancy and childbirth. The lecture format and content can be adjusted upon request.
This program is open to everyone living in Japan, regardless of age or gender, including managers and parents who support young people.
The lectures are free. Schools or companies interested should apply to the Oita Midwives Association by phone or fax at least one month before the desired date. After applying, the lecturer will contact the applicant to finalize details.
On the day of the lecture, hosts are asked to assist with venue setup and equipment. Please check the official site for detailed information and application procedures.
