Lecture on Mindset Management by First Female Antarctic Expedition Leader

Tochigi Prefecture invites Professor Naomi Harada, the first female leader of the Antarctic regional observation team, to give a lecture titled “Mindset Management to Bring Out Your Strengths.” The lecture shares her experience working with a diverse team under extreme conditions and explains the importance of changing fixed gender roles and unconscious bias. The event is on October 31, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, at the Partiy Tochigi Gender Equality Center in Utsunomiya City. Anyone may apply, with up to 250 participants accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission is free. Applications are accepted online only from August 1 to October 23, 2026.
