Notification of Additional Welfare Benefits

Extra payments will be provided to those who previously received welfare benefits.
Oita Prefecture has announced that households who received welfare benefits between August 2013 and March 2026 will receive additional payments due to a recent court ruling. This applies even to those not currently receiving benefits. Eligible individuals need to apply if they are not currently receiving benefits. Please contact the Additional Benefits Consultation Center for more information on the application process.
