Change of Application Office for Electrician Licenses and Electric Work Registrations in Osaka

Osaka Prefecture announced that starting from October 1, 2026, applications for electrician licenses and electric work registrations will be accepted at the Osaka Electric Construction Industry Association headquarters. The new office is located on the 3rd floor of the Osaka Electric Construction Technology Hall, 2-3-38 Honjo Higashi, Kita-ku, Osaka.

This change applies to all who need to apply for these certifications or registrations, including foreign residents living in Japan. If you need to apply, please use the new office.

The reception hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The office is closed on public holidays and from December 29 to January 3. The location is about an 8-minute walk from Exit 11 of Tenjinbashisuji Rokuchome Station (Osaka Metro Sakaisuji or Tanimachi Line) and can also be reached by bus.
