Change in Nursing Care Insurance Application in Fukushima

Fukushima prefecture is updating its nursing care insurance application procedures. From September 2, 2026, all applications and submissions related to nursing care insurance must be done via the electronic application system. Other submission methods such as in-person, mail, or fax will no longer be accepted. Residents, including foreign nationals living in Japan, are encouraged to acquire a G-biz ID beforehand.
