Starting April 1, 2025, the Emergency Phone Consultation Service (#7119) in Shizuoka is available 24/7. This service is designed for residents of Shizuoka, including foreign nationals aged 15 and over. It provides advice from a nurse on how to handle sudden illnesses or injuries and offers guidance on whether to visit a hospital or call an ambulance.
