Niigata Prefecture Seeks Temporary Staff

Niigata Prefecture is hiring one temporary staff member for the roles of Registered Dietitian, Dietitian, or Administrative Staff. The workplace is the Health Promotion Support Division at the Prefectural Office in Niigata City.

The job includes planning and research related to food education and health promotion policies. This position is to temporarily replace regular staff on maternity or childcare leave.

The employment period is from October 23, 2026, to January 31, 2027, with a possibility of extension up to about one year.

Applicants must have either a Registered Dietitian or Dietitian qualification, or at least a high school level of education. They should also be able to use computer software to create documents with tables and graphs.

Applications are accepted from September 14 to October 9, 2026. You can apply by submitting the required documents in person or by mail. Online or email applications are not accepted.

Interviews will be held at the Niigata Prefectural Office, with the date and time to be informed later. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

The salary depends on education and experience. For example, a new university graduate can expect about 230,000 yen per month.
