Nagoya city announced a guide helper training starting October 18, 2026. This training prepares participants to assist people with intellectual disabilities during outings. The course lasts about three days: lectures on October 18 and 24, and practice on October 25. The number of participants is limited to 10. Applications open from September 14 to October 2, 2026. Interested people should contact the social welfare organization Yotsuba-kai. There is financial support for the training fee. This training is open to foreign residents living in Japan.
