Changes in Residence Procedure Fees

Residence procedure fees will be revised from April 1, 2025.
Starting April 1, 2025, the fees for changing residence status and other related procedures will be revised under a new government order. New fees for online applications will also be introduced. This change affects foreign residents in Japan. Applications submitted by March 31, 2025, will still be subject to the old fees, even if processed after April 1.
