This service connects taxpayers with interpreters via a contracted call center, not directly through tax offices. Calls from the interpreter service will come from a dedicated number: 03-6630-9028. Please note that calling back this number will not connect you to the tax office. Instead, use the contact number provided on your official documents for any callbacks or inquiries. The agency also clarifies it never requests specific bank accounts for tax payments nor asks for ATM operations. If you receive suspicious calls, contact your local tax office immediately.
