Starting April 1, 2025, fees for certain residence procedures will be revised, including online applications.
From April 1, 2025, the fees for procedures such as changing your residence status will be revised. This change also includes fees for online applications. If you are a foreign resident in Japan, this may affect you, so please take note. The revised fees will apply to applications submitted on or after April 1, 2025. Applications submitted by March 31, 2025, even if approved after April 1, will be charged the old fees. Please verify details on the official website.
