Support for Kumamoto Earthquake Victims

Yamaguchi Prefecture offers a support center and public housing for victims of the Kumamoto Earthquake.
In response to the Kumamoto Earthquake, Yamaguchi Prefecture has established a support center as of August 7. This center, located in the Health and Welfare Department, is open weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. Additionally, around 10 units of public housing will be available for those with damaged homes who have received a 'Disaster Certificate' from their municipality. The housing is rent-free for six months and can be renewed, with no need for a guarantor or deposit.
