Osaka Launches 6th Support Program to Reduce LP Gas Prices

On September 3, 2026, Osaka Prefecture announced its 6th support program to help LP gas users affected by price increases. The program targets general consumers living in Osaka who meet certain legal conditions. It offers a discount up to 3,000 yen (excluding tax) on one month’s gas bill in October or November 2026, chosen by the gas supplier. Users do not need to apply as the discount is automatic.
