Extension of Grant Periods for Workforce Acquisition

The Hokkaido government has extended the application period for workforce acquisition grants.
The application period for grants provided to job seekers and employers in specific industries within Hokkaido has been extended. Foreigners living in Japan may also be eligible for this scheme. Eligible applicants need to have had a break in employment of at least one month and must work for over 31 days in designated fields between April 16 and November 15, 2026.
