Changes to Tuberculosis Regular Health Screening

Oita Prefecture has announced a change in the frequency and deadlines for reports of regular tuberculosis health screenings. Tuberculosis remains a concern, particularly for foreign residents of Japan, especially those working in healthcare or living in groups. These changes are effective from August 4, 2026.
