Saga Prefecture Invites Public Opinions on Bus Fare Changes

Saga Prefecture will offer free bus rides within Saga City on October 17 and 18, 2026. During these two days, passengers who get off at Saga City bus stops will not be charged any fare. This initiative is called "Saga City Bus Fare Free Day."

The fare-free policy also applies to the Emisen bus line, operated under commission by Saga City, Kanzaki City, and Miyaki Town. Foreign residents living in Japan who use these buses can benefit from this service.

Public opinions are being collected from September 9 to September 16, 2026. You can send your comments in Japanese by mail, fax, or email to the Saga Prefecture Transportation Policy Division. Comments will be used as reference for fare discussions but will not receive individual replies.
