Iwate Prefecture Launches Electronic Application Service

Iwate Prefecture has started a new online service that allows applications and notifications to be done over the internet to the prefecture and its municipalities. Foreign residents in Japan can now conduct these processes without paper documents. Some procedures may require prior registration and an electronic signature, so please be cautious.
